			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It is not hard to see that I am always interested in art created using the expected things; those things we expect to see or use everyday, used unexpectedly.  <a href="http://www.jennifermaestre.com/index.php">Jennifer Maestre&#8217;s</a> sculptures fall into this category.</p>
<p>I use pencils everyday, yes even in this day and age of keyboards, but never have I done anything beyond their intended use except to chew on them. Here is a use for pencils that goes beyond using their graphite filled centers for scribbling numbers or as adult pacifiers.</p>
